Public Policy

The Institute of Public Policy conducts the Public Opinion Barometer annually, which is the most trustworthy research that measures public perception and determines the interest in socio-political events of citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The research results are used by a wide range of stakeholders, including academia, civil society, political parties, the media, etc. The foundation will co-finance the Public Opinion Barometer in 2021 as well.

For several years, the foundation has supported young researchers who aimed to work on improving the public policy framework. The Public Policy Fellowship Program (PPF) implemented by the Good Governance Department contributed to improving knowledge and practical skills in data collection and statistical analysis and in writing public policy briefs. PPF alumnae (2017-2020) will have the opportunity to work on small advocacy projects, which will allow them to promote their research recommendations for public authorities.

In 2021, the foundation will identify and support a new generation of young researchers who are interested in improving their knowledge and skills in public policy and advocacy.
