Justice and Human Rights

The Justice and Human Rights Department’s vision of rule of law is built on the solid grounds of a fair, accessible and predictable justice delivery system, which effectively safeguards fundamental human rights.

The Department develops and implements activities in several areas, crucial for the fulfilment of its vision: Human Rights, Access to Justice, and Criminal Justice.

Public Health

Our mission is to support and contribute to the development and promotion of health policies and practices based on evidence, which promotes human rights, social inclusion, and justice.

Media Department's mission: to contribute to the development of an open, participatory, pluralistic and value-based society in Republic of Moldova by organizing, supporting and financing activities aimed at encouraging the development of an independent media sector and improving access to information.

Education Support Project

Civil society organizations and local public authorities create partnerships to develop social sustainable services in the communities they blong to

Thirty nonguvernamental organizations, grants winners within the project “Better social services through a sustainable partnership between civil society and government” started the dialogue with public institutions in order to build long-term efficient partnerships. This is for assureing the sustainability of the social services that are going to be developed for people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities and children from vulnerable groups.

Thus, a range of work visits were organized during January in order to set the common actions for achieveing the projects’ goals: the creation of the Supported living services, Community Home services, mobile teams, hygiene and care services, early intervention services, day care services for vulnerable groups, educational assistance, support and extra school activities, assistance and psychosocial support, socialization activities, development of skills for self-service and independent living, vocational orientation and assisted employment, etc.
As a result of the working meetings, 7 Supported living services will function in Balti and Falesti rayions and 6 Commuity Home services will be set up in Orhei rayon.
The Grants Program is implemented within the framework of the project "Better Social Services through a Sustainable Partnership between Civil Society and Government" funded by the European Union, co-funded and implemented by the Soros Foundation-Moldova in partnership with the Keystone Moldova Association, the Alliance of NGOs active in the field of Social Protection of Family and Child (APSCF) and the Alliance of Organizations working with the disabled people (AOPD). The project implementation period is February 2018-January 2021, with a total budget of € 2 117 578.
